I used to love Joy’s but the more I go, the more I feel the service and quality is lacking. I’ve had over my time here eggshells in my food, raw egg, not having my order placed properly, being charged for something I didn’t quite order, having so much trouble finding parking in the morning, or just been rushed to leave because they were trying to get more people in. The service is pretty nonexistent. You order and they don’t come by until late and sometimes they’ll offer more coffee and totally forget (happened to my friend so he just didn’t bother after a while). They do have good portions but the other aspects make it difficult to go here any longer because it’s hard to communicate needs and well, quality. In addition, it’s not that clean at times. Some waitresses will be better about accommodating but they tend to work more in the evening. It’s unfortunate to leave :/

Funny enough, great Mexican food at an unassuming diner. Genuinely good, from an Arizona native.

Good prices for delicious authentic Mexican fare. My streak fajitas were delectable and came in a good enough portion to bring a satisfying snack home to my husband. My friends and I were able to stay chatting until closing and were able to leave respectfully without any fuss from the staff. A friendly staff, and a warm, casual atmosphere. Would like to go again with my husband and try some of tbe other dishes.

We happened upon this place after leaving the casino this morning, and I'm so glad we did. This pic is of my Habernero Ranchero breakfast. Everything tasted so fresh and homemade. They even freshly squeeze our orange juice. The portion was huge, but I genuinely enjoyed every bite. The menu is vast array of American and Mexican and just yumminess! Definitely worth skipping the buffet at Mohegan Sun, and grabbing this on the way home instead.

Quickly be coming my favorite breakfast or lunch place. Menu has staples or Tex-Mex dishes to liven up your meals. Fast, friendly, clean family atmosphere.

Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Portions were large and prices were nice and low. I only gave 4 stars as restaurant could use a little bit of improvement.

Mexican food is phenomenal! Chicken Mole, chicken suiza, and chimichangas oh my! The staff is friendly and quick and I'm told the breakfast is excellent. They also now own Sunset Pizza which is next on my agenda for both Mex and pizza. You go Juan!

My hobby is trying breakfast places. Have been doing it for many years. Out of 42 places, this is best. Because I can have Tostadas with eggs for breakfast!

Now only serve breakfast and lunch. If you want Mexican food/ other dinner dishes go to Sunset Pizza now owned by the same folks as Joys.

This place was close by from Fairfield Hotel. It's only 16min walk, which it's great after you eat..:) Great Breakfast...Fresh, good price! You can dine in or outside. Very happy with the service.

One of the best breakfast places in town. The service is excellent and the food always resembles the pictures in the menu(this is strangely very important to me haha). When in doubt...Joy it out. Stay classy!

Had breakfast there today and enjoyed the time. The food was great and filling.

From the first moment you enter that place the personel give you a comfortable feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a nice place to enjoy with friends or with your date. heavenly meals, skillful chef de cuisine, honest price and generous service. Highly recommended.

They are doing a great job with the social distancing and there is a high school grad that deserves recognition and great tips!

I had the best southwestern omelette of my life from Joy’s. Amazing portions, reasonably priced and the servers are so friendly and courteous. I haven’t had the pleasure of going back since my first time there, but I ALWAYS recommend Joy’s to friends who are looking for a great place to grab breakfast.

Been going here through 4 owners over 20 years. You won't leave hungry. Here's one of their stuffed cabbage specials for 9.95.

Waited to be seated, customer (probably family or know the owner) finally stood up and pointed me to the booth. Guess you sit wherever you want. Old guy who cleans got some attitude problem. Waitress is friendly. My steak & eggs is overcooked, asked for medium came well done. Not a big deal. Homemade style breakfast is always the best.

Great food and service with a smile

Was a little concerned when the first server didnt say a word to us when dropping some water off... but as the meal went on it became apparent that he doesn't talk to anyone, so I guess it wasn't personal. The second server showed up and was a very pleasant waitress. The breakfast was good and came out quickly. A touch pricey, and this surprised me. If you are in the area it is worth stopping to eat.

Food was average. The wait once we ordered was 45 minutes for an omelette and eggs benedict. The english muffin was burnt and inedible. They did offer to correct the problem but we weren't waiting any longer. Customers who sat down after us ate and left before we were served. And yes, we did let our waitress know that we had been waiting way too long. It still didn't speed the process up. Never again.

Have breakfast quite often at joys. The hospitality is a solid 5 star. Food is always good and lots of options. Somtimes it can be really busy would like to see them get a bigger building.
